Yeah I know. I dropped the ball on the whole blogging thing. What can I say? I'm a busy guy. This is it...one week left. One week left of classes to close out my entire undergraduate career. Seems like smooth sailing as long as I don't do something stupid like fail a final. Other than that, I'm excited to move on to a new chapter in my life. I think I'm pretty much over the whole college thing. Especially this weekend, being that I had to pass three checkpoints just to drive from off campus back to my apartment. Saw ten cops stationed within a couple of miles, seems like overkill. And apparently cops raided the bars. Spring weekend is obviously something of the past. But whatever, this isn't going to be a rant about how I miss the real Spring weekend so don't worry. However, I really do feel like I'm over college. You come in all excited, do mediocre in your classes and basically try to make college into everything you thought it was, mostly influenced by unrealistic movies. By junior year you either have a girlfriend, have mastered the art of picking up girls, went the bookworm route, or still haven't found yourself. I was the guy who still didn't find himself. I think I found myself this year recently, either that or it's just college wearing off and me gaining my identity back. Either way, I'm done. It's the same shit over and over again. Literally no variation.
So anyways, girls... Like, you don't want to believe that they are actually jealous creatures but somehow you're not surprised when they show their true colors. Girls you have known for a long time that seem calm and collected, can really shock you. Excuses that are obviously a sham are constantly used as their scapegoats to escape a sticky situation. After a while you get smart and can tell bullshit from the real thing. And after a while you can figure out which ones are worth keeping around and which ones aren't.
