Summer 2014 Commence
It's been a few months since my last post, but hey, I've been posting once every few months at best anyways. Well, the horrible winter has finally seemed to die, and this weekend was finally a sign that the warm weather will be consistent moving forward (no more of that mid April snow teaser bullshit). I am looking forward to an exciting summer, which begins with a cruise to the Bahamas in a few weeks.
This cruise is going to be somewhat comical, I already know. The attendee list for our party is five dudes. I was laughing when I read what one of the shore excursions was riding horses through the water. The thought of five guys majestically riding horses through the water as the sun set upon us made me more giddy than I expected. But of course, that won't be a shore excursion we will be participating in. Maybe.
This is, in fact, my first cruise. Which I'm excited about. I've heard mixed things about cruises. Some say it's all families, but others say Carnival is the way to go for a fun "party" type theme. At the end of the day (and as always) personal experience trumps the word of mouth from others, so we shall see, and I will certainly blog about it.
Aside from that big vacation coming up, I am expecting a couple of weekend trips. Nothing too crazy. I do hope to get back to Greece one of these years, I haven't been to the island of Crete (where my family is from and has homes there) since I was 14. However I don't think this year is the year for that.
I've been having thoughts about life lately, kind of scary ones. My career...where do I see myself in five years... things like that. I know people that are getting married this year- my age- that's a scary thought. But even more pressing is figuring out what I want to do with my career. I legitimately see tons of possibilities around me. I have been playing with a few different ideas for the future- grad school and even entrepreneurial ventures. I touched on one or two things in the post below, which I decided to not follow up on my blog with until something actually comes of it. Let's just say... I've been working on some stuff. Will it go anywhere in the long run? Who knows. I'd certainly like to keep my possibilities open.
I have been toying with the idea of setting up monthly goals at the beginning of each month on here, and then posting results of how I did at the end of each month. I generally get a good amount of readers whenever I make a post, so it's not like I'd be posting goals for nothing. Just an idea.
That's really it for now. The winter was harsh and I'm glad it's over. I should be able to post more regularly this summer, especially since there will be things to talk about. I'll keep you updated on the whole goals report thing.

I'm Still Alive... I Promise
I can't believe how long its been since my last post. I'm really sorry about that...life is moving so fast these days! To sum up the rest of 2013, I completed the summer with trips to Atlantic City and Electric Zoo. Both were super fun, but unfortunately some kids passed away thus canceling the third day of Electric Zoo. It's very sad that people have resorted to taking so many drugs to have fun, and I feel horrible for the families of those few kids. So yeah...don't take a ton of molly pills. Probably not a good idea.
Myself and some close friends took a trip to Montreal for my birthday in November. It's definitely...Canadian, even if its really French Canadian. There was a feeling of superiority from the locals, though the people we met visiting from Toronto were extremely nice. (We actually made fun of them, behind their backs of course, and later on they ended up buying us shots. Oops). Anyways, the food is o.k. at best. Oh. And don't go there in the winter. Too frickin cold...we learned that the hard way.
So what is new and current in my life these days? Well, I'm still working and living in CT. That much is the same. I am going on a Carnival Cruise in May and couldn't be more excited. I am also working on side business ideas, and have had some success so far. What's great about running your own side businesses, are you can work on your own time and truly do what it is you love to do. I have started another page on this blog called The Side Money Project. There's one post on there right now, and I plan on next updating it with my excursions related to reselling on Ebay. In addition to that, there will be many other posts related to other side business ideas and some cool ways to make spare cash in your free time.
Another addition to the blog is entirely dedicated to my new main side business venture. The page is called Amazing Kindle E-Books by Stefan. Head there for full details, but basically, I am working to release a variety of E-Books for sale on a broad range of topics. Check it out to see if there's anything you like!
I plan on trying to keep up with this at least once a week. Check back soon for some crazy stories which I'll reveal about some good times over the past few months!!
